Congratulation on completing Day 4!

Welcome to Day 5.

.
We are officially into Day 5 of our LIVE Training Sessions and I couldn’t be more excited having you be a part of it.  If you missed Day 1, no worries, simply go back and start at the beginning.  Don’t feel you have to rush through the day(s) missed, take your time and get it done.
 .

Today’s quote:

.
“Don’t make a habit out of choosing what feels good over what is actually good for you!” – Eric Thomas
 .
How many times have YOU made a decision and wished you had done it different? If you are anything like me, that are many things you wish you would had done differently.  However, the more important part of those hard lessons is, did we learn from it?
 .
Being lazy and full of procrastination is so easy because it takes little to zero effort.  I’m pretty sure you have heard this saying before, “If it was easy, everyone would do it!”
.
What I’m getting to with this quote is that goals take hard work, they require discipline and consistency.  When we make goals it is so important to not only think about them but rather write them down, say them out loud to someone and literally post them everywhere in our house, car and place of work.  These few actions are so important because this allows for accountability.
 .
Making a very clear vision on where we want to be at is so very important because there is no way to know if you have made it or not, unless you set a parameter.  If you make a goal to lose 25 pounds and after 6 months you have only lost 10 pounds, you know how much further you need to go.  When you are pursuing that 25 pounds weight loss, making decisions that are actually good for is KEY.  When you want to take a break from your nutrition plan because “you are tired of eating that way” isn’t a good enough excuse because it’s not actually good for you.  But, it is so easy to quit on yourself
.
Why is it so easy to quit on yourself but you would never quit on your friend?  That is actually a really good question.  I firmly believe it comes down to our own self worth and how we view ourselves.  If we have a low self-esteem, I believe it’s easier to just quit.  But when we find value in ourselves, quitting is so much harder because quitting creates an internal battle within us.
.

So how to do we increase our self-esteem?

-Start investing in ourselves more.
-Stop doing EVERYTHING for others and nothing for yourself.
-Start looking at yourself in the mirror and giving yourself a “hi-five!”
– Start every morning by listening or reading something that breathes life into you!
.
You are a powerful person who deserves the world and all your dreams to come true.  Walk through your day with the best posture, smile as you look people and the face and make your goal each day to impact the people around you so radically!
.

Each day our routine will consist of 3 Pillars:

Fitness (15 minutes): We will use HIIT (hight intensity interval training) as our vehicle to increase our fitness and get a better bang for our buck.  Don’t be surprised when results start showing up faster than normal.
Quiet time (5 minutes): Some call this meditation, prayer time or times of gratitude.  This is where we pause from all the rat racing and allow for peace to enter.
Personal Investment (10 minutes): Personal development.  This is you investing in you.  Whether its reading, listening to a podcast, listening or sitting a reading a book (I’ll list a few of my favorites below).

Motivational Video

The best advice I have ever been given is to “Never Make Excuses!”  Rather, take responsibility for 100% of everything.  The difference between powerful and non-powerful people is all in their language.   Words like “Can’t” and “Have to” are a great example of casting blame on others and not taking full responsibility.  So as we go through our day try to be very mindful on the language you are conducing.
