Congratulation on completing Day 3!

Welcome to Day 4.

We are officially into Day 4 of our LIVE Training Sessions and I couldn’t be more excited having you be a part of it.  If you missed Day 1, no worries, simply go back and start at the beginning.  Don’t feel you have to rush through the day(s) missed, take your time and get it done.

For some the reason why we haven’t been achieving our goals is because we are being held back by a belief we have.  I spoke about this yesterday, but the place goal achieving begins is directly right between our ears.  Our mindset is the key component to achieving success.  If we believe we are a victim and we wronged and that is why we aren’t succeeding, we will be right.  We will live in this reality that is it someones fault and as our scape goat for being overweight, unemployed, single, married and miserable, friendless or (fill in the blank).
 .
Now I am not saying AT ALL that something bad did not happen or that person didn’t do you wrong but what I am saying is, if this becomes your identity this will hold you back from live has intended for you.
.
We will become the crowd we hang out with.  If we hang out with negative, victim mindset people, we will become that, if we hang out with successful optimistic people, we will become that.
 .
So as you start your day, I encourage you to dig deep and think, “Do I need to forgive someone?”, “Am I holding on to a grudge?” or “Am I blaming others for my current situation?”.  Once we get real honest with ourselves, I firmly. believe that we will find peace within ourselves and be free from any bondage.

I know this is pretty deep today, but I firmly believe it so crucial to our overall health.  If I am being 100% honest, after being coach, mentor, personal trainer or over 12 years,  this is why athletes of mine haven’t achieved their goals.  But for the ones who totally excelled and changed their lives, it is because they allowed themselves to give themselves a reality check.

As always, as you start your day, embrace all that you experience today, good and bad.  Make an effort to impact someones life today!

Each day our routine will consist of 3 main focus
Fitness (15 minutes): We will use HIIT (hight intensity interval training) as our vehicle to increase our fitness and get a better bang for our buck.  Don’t be surprised when results start showing up faster than normal.
Quiet time (5 minutes): Some call this meditation, prayer time or times of gratitude.  This is where we pause from all the rat racing and allow for peace to enter.
Personal Investment (10 minutes): Personal development.  This is you investing in you.  Whether its reading, listening to a podcast, listening or sitting a reading a book (I’ll list a few of my favorites below).

Motivational Video

My favorite speech to give is the topic of you mattering.  YOU are a powerful person that deserves the best.  Whether you believe it or not, it is true.  Too many times we sacrifice ourselves for others and we overall lose in the end.  Our health declines, our “to-do list” doesn’t get accomplished, etc.  Before I lose you, I am all about serving people. That is what I do.  What I’m getting to is that you are a priority also and MUST take care of yourself also. Below is a little video I made that elaborates more on this topic.
